It is written:

“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.” - John 15:18-19

We live in a time when this could not be more true; Christian teachers being forced to hide because of their faith, Christian student organizations being banned in universities, and people giving false testimonies in the name of our Lord and turning people even further away from the truth.

If you are a Christ-follower, do not be discouraged by the hatred, persecution, and banishment you receive, but sing His praises in every circumstance. You are not of this world, you are Christ’s light in the lives of the people around you. Remember that no matter how many people are against you, the One who created them all is with you.
