the thrift store jesus
I just remembered recently this game my friend Sean and I came up with one day when we were thrifting:
We noticed that we had been seeing a lot of Jesus paintings and mugs and who knows what else in every thrift store we went to so we decided to make it a game that we couldn’t leave each thrift store until we found Jesus. Sure enough, there is a Jesus or two in EVERY SINGLE thrift store.

So, I was listening to Matt & Kim’s CD Grand, which is fabulous, and I came to number ten “I’ll Take Us Home.” As I heard the chorus I couldn’t help but make a HUGE connection between the lyrics and one of my faves Fables (The comic). If anyone reads that, they might understand. Think of Bigby and how Fabletown is hidden in a big city etc.
